Copenhagen Admiral Hotel

History and luxury at the Admiral

The Copenhagen Admiral Hotel sits right where all the action is—next to Amalienborg Royal Palace and staring at the Opera House like it's a staring contest. This place? It's got vibes from another era and a breakfast that'll make you rethink your morning routine. Tea and coffee? Sure, right in your room. It's like they know you can't function before caffeine.

Here's a fun fact: the building's got Pomeranian pine beams and brick arches. No, not a dog show, but the kind that gives rooms an old-school charm. Each room’s a little nook of coziness with seats, a minibar, and a TV with more channels than you can count. Some rooms flaunt original wooden beams, so you can wake up feeling like a Danish royal.

For the foodies out there, Salt restaurant isn't just a name; it's an experience. Think Danish dishes with a twist. And if you're adventurous with your drinks, the Salt bar’s got cocktails that might make you rethink your definition of 'drinkable'. You can sip them while watching schooner ships or people-watching at the harbor. Plus, getting to Nyhavn, Kongens Nytorv Metro Station, or Strøget shopping street is easier than finding a tourist in Copenhagen.
